Carbon fiber biaxial fabric is a type of reinforcement material used in the manufacturing of composite materials, particularly in industries such as aerospace, automotive, marine, and sports equipment. It is made by weaving or knitting together two layers of carbon fiber in a biaxial orientation, which means the fibers in each layer are oriented at 0 and 90 degrees (or sometimes +/-45 degrees) relative to each other. This arrangement is in contrast to unidirectional carbon fiber, where all the fibers run in the same direction.
Application:
Biaxial fabric can be used in a wide range of applications, including aircraft components, automotive parts, sporting goods, and even in the construction of high-performance boats.
